I put my creative energies into fiber for 25 years and desired a change of medium. I always loved watercolor, and had always been fascinated by Chinese brush painting, with its characteristic fluidity, discipline and mediative quality. I've been studying Sumi e for about 10 years now. I am also a landscape designer and painting has proven to be an excellent way for me to express the landscapes I love working in, the beautiful one I live in and the ones I create in my mind.
